Chris Pilz, former collegiate All-American and head coach at the University of Missouri - St. Louis will be putting on a basketball clinic for boys and girls entering 4th grade through high school on Monday July 12th and Tuesday July 13th at the Rolla Junior High. Coach Pilz puts on an excellent camp and will bring his experience to help develop shooting skills and overall guard play.
The clinics are designed for competitive-level traveling basketball players and those playing on school teams. Coach Pilz will break the Clinic into two separate sessions depending on age group. A player can choose to participate in one clinic for $49 or both clinics for a discounted price of $75.
July 12th: Just Shoot it Better
July 13th: Skills to Score
Just Shoot it Better will focus on reinforcing proper shooting form and utilize various drills and techniques to help you increase your shooting percentage to give you the confidence to knock down the big shot.
Skills to Score will focus on the other aspects of scoring outside of shooting. Getting to the rack, breaking down a defender and exploding to the basket. A portion of this Clinic will be devoted to improving your core strength and understanding the impact that it has on your game.
